Brief Synopsis: Caesar is the younger brother of Albert Silverberg, and the youngest (known) member of the prestigious Silverberg line of military strategists. As such, he was schooled in Harmonia at Soledt alongside his brother, as well as tutored by (his uncle) Mathiu's student, Apple: unfortunately--despite his natural affinity for tactics and strategies--he's somewhat of a lazy bum, and never really tried until a disagreement with Albert kindled the strong desire to best his brother. (Caesar believes in Mathiu's maxim of minimizing the casualties of both foe and ally alike, even at the cost of greater objectives, whereas Albert takes after his grandfather Leon with the idea that wars should be ended as soon as possible, even if it means a higher body count.) This desire led him as far as to offer his services to the disorganized excuse of an army opposing Albert to test his skills, though it wasn't intentional (he'd been traveling with Apple to study while she gathered information on the Grasslands and their inhabitants).

In the end, he won the war but lost the battle -- Albert's "side" may have failed in their objectives, but Caesar was faced with the fact that Albert was still the better strategist. After the war, he disappeared from the face of history to travel the world and better himself. One day, he hopes to have another chance to beat Albert.

From first glance, Caesar seems like a pretty sloppy guy -- his hair and clothes are generally disheveled, his attitude nonchalant and somewhat aloof. The truth of the matter is that despite all these things, he is still a Silverberg; though he may lack experience, he is fiercely intelligent, highly observant, and fully worthy of the family name. He is far more likely to listen to his feelings than his older brother, and truly does care about protecting his charges, eagerly pledging himself to the Grassland's chosen Flame Champion (Hugo, for our intents and purposes) in a far more exuberant display than someone just interested in winning a rivalry battle. He is blunt and realistic, yet sometimes terribly naive, especially when it comes to the matter of Albert.
